Harrier recently helped the Alfreton & Ripley British Heart Foundation Fundraising Group raise £1600.50 with their Flat Cap & Ferrets event by sponsoring one of the races, enabling the money raised on the night to directly benefit the British Heart Foundation.

Butcher fined following worker injury

A butchers has been fined after a worker suffered deep lacerations to one his hands when working.

Bristol Magistrates Court heard how the worker was cutting beef bones on a band saw at the time of the incident when he suffered deep lacerations to his left hand.
