Chay Thomas, Event Safety Advisor
After 10+ years in crowd management, I sought a new challenge, moving to Saudi Arabia auditing Health and Safety as part of Vision 2030 before joining Harrier as an Event Controller. This demanding role acts as a liaison between the venue and the Promoter’s Representative and it provides valuable insight into how both operations must align and communicate to deliver an event involving multiple stakeholders with separate priorities.

I specialise in all aspects of events safety from conferences and expo’s through to mass participation running events. I’ve been working with Harrier over the last 9 months or so where I have spent time working in Event control, working as the conduit between the production crew and the stadium safety teams. I’ve also spent time working on the ground in a H&S advisory capacity during the break and build for stadium concerts.
