“Black Deer Festival takes place in the oldest deer park in England; Eridge Park in Kent. Showcasing music across multiple stages, live fire cooking and custom motorcycle culture with Harley-Davidson, Black Deer is a family staycation destination with a community ethos.

Harrier was appointed as the new Health & Safety advisors for the festival in early 2022 and worked closely alongside the Production team throughout the planning stages of the event. An expert eye to detail and vast knowledge of the events industry meant Harrier were able to thoroughly review the festivals policy’s & procedures, while providing invaluable advice. Harrier provided the festival with various services including producing risk assessments, event safety plans and signing off on contractor documentation. They also produced incident plans for the event and reviewed the Show Stop policy, both of which became the focus on the second night of the 2022 festival when extreme weather conditions encircled the site. Helen, Jo & Ben from Harrier were a welcome & hugely important part of the 2022 festival team, and it was a pleasure working with them throughout the planning & onsite delivery stages.
